Here is a sole authorship piece from Ray. The knife is a lockback folder with 440c blade and CP titanium scales. The engraving features a Koi Pond theme. The concept was to have two planes of existence, one above the surface and another below. All the elements that are below the water surface are engraved flat and flush with the surface as if the water surface is a barrier between he two planes. All the elements above the surface are raised and sculpted in three dimensional space. The inlay materials include copper, 14K green gold, and 24k yellow gold |
